Cancer Research Classic

WHEELING, W.Va., Jan. 5, 2018 -- A battle for Florida bragging rights unfolded in the second game of the CRC as IMG Academy and Orlando Christian Prep squared off.

A closely fought battle throughout, IMG held a one-point lead after three, but wore down Orlando Christian in the fourth en route to outscoring it, 21-14.

Leading the way for IMG, which played without 7-3 center Chol Marial, was junior Josh Green. He scored 22 points and had five rebounds. Jahmius Ramsey added 21, while Darius Days, an LSU signee, logged 18 points and an impressive 14 rebounds.

One of the most impressive players of the weekend, who is headed to Division I basketball, but still fairly under-the-radar is Orlando Christian point guard Ronaldo Segu.

The future Buffalo Bull scored 15 points and passed out four assists. He played a sound floor game.

His scoring and production complemented McDonald's All-American Nassir Little. Little, who is signed to North Carolina, was impressive. As you'd expect from a player heading to one of the sport's blue-blood programs, Little was 12-of-19 from the floor and true on all seven of his free throws en route to 35 points. He also had eight rebounds.

Orlando Christian Prep is the defending state champion in Florida. It departed the CRC early Saturday morning, flew home and played another game that evening in its home gym.
